Parliamentary elections in Croatia

Parliamentary elections took place in Croatia on Sunday. According to surveys and preliminary results, the two biggest parties – the ruling Conservative Democratic Croatian community and the opposition Social-Democratic party got an equal amount of votes.

Both parties are planning integration into Nato and the European Union. Social-democrats think that the role of the state in the economy should become more important.
