Over 2000 people in Belarus lose sight annually
Every year, over 2000 people in Belarus become blind invalids, according to Aleh Shepel, the chairman of the Belarusian Association of Blind Invalids. He noted that there was few people who were born blind. Most of the invalids lost sight due to sickness or injuries, reports Interfax . November 13 is the International Day of Blind People.
