Moscow ready to deploy missiles on Belarus territory

In respond to the US plans to deploy missiles and radar systems in Poland and the Czech Republic, Russia could propose to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenka to deploy short and medium-tange missiles on the territory of Belarus.  Formally, the missiles would be Belarusian, not the Russian, said Mikhail Delyagin who runs the Instiute of Globalization, a Moscow-based think tank.

"Lukashenka would welcome this initiaitve with pleasure," he noted. In this regard, Moscow now faces the task of improving relations with the official Minsk.
