Minivan Pontiac catches fire in yard of “Belarusfilm” film studio
A car caught fire in the parking lot situated in the yard of “Belarusfilm” film studio in the afternoon of August 12. A duty representative of the Emergency Control Ministry Alyaksandr Ramanenka has informed ERB about it. Ramanenka: “A minivan Pontiac caught fire in the parking lot situated in the yard of a film studio “Belarusfilm”. A fire-engine and a tank-car were involved in the liquidation of the fire. The fire was extinguished quickly and nobody was injured”.
Although there were no victims, the incident impressed witnesses a lot. Some people claimed they saw the car blow up. But Alyaksandr Ramanenka refuses the rumours.
Ramanenka: “People say there was a blast. But who are those witnesses? You see, they are ordinary people affected by emotions. If it were a blast...”
The reason for the fire is being investigated.
