Lukashenka does not exclude Russian trace in attack against Embassy in Minsk
Alyaksandr Lukashenka does not exclude that Russia may be involved in the incident on the territory of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Minsk. He claimed it on September 1, reports BelaPAN. Statements pronounced by some Russian politicians became the reason for the idea. Lukashenka noted that their reaction was very quick and he connected it with TV films “Godfather” recently shown by the NTV channel.
According to Lukashenka, only “dregs and idiots” can accuse Belarus of knowing about the incident in advance and not doing anything to prevent it.
Let us remind you that strangers threw two petrol bombs on the territory of the Russian Embassy on the evening of August 30. A company Mazda-3 caught fire.
A famous politician Vladimir Zhirinovski said on a Russian TV channel that the incident was “the beginning of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s pre-election campaign”.
