Homel activists celebrate State Security Employee’s Day
Activists of “Belarusian Christian Democracy” and “Malady Front” conducted an information action “Future without KGB” in Homel on December 19. It was dated for the State Security Employee’s Day officially celebrated on December 20. The coordinator of creation of the BCD party Kanstantsin Zhukouski informed BelaPAN that activists had distributed about 300 CDs with documentaries about political repressions in Belarus and information leaflets about the current activities of security services over several hours.
"The goal of our action is to tell people the truth about KGB members who are the descendants of PCIA members. We think that security services are beyond the Constitution now. Their members exercise pressure on opposition activists, force employers to fire some people and organize political persecution”, - noted K.Zhukouski.
