Four activists accused at once
The human rights centre “Vyasna” has informed about it. The accused may be sentenced to 3-8 years of imprisonment.
Four participants of the square have been accused of active participation in mass disorders at once: Ales Kirkevich, Zmitser Drozd, Syarhei Kazakou and Uladzimir Yaromenak.
Drozd Dzmitry – an activist of A.Sannikau’s election team, served a 10-day sentence for participation in the protest action, was detained again on February 1 and spent 3 days in Akrestsina detention centre on suspicion of participation in the mass disorders. Now he will either be transferred to the KGB prison or to Valadarski Street prison.
Kazakou Syarhei – an activist of “European Belarus” detained as a suspect in the mass disorders criminal case on January 27.
Yaromenak Uladzimir - an activist of “Young Front”, served a 15-day sentence for participation in the solidarity action on December 20, spent 7 more days in Akrestsina detention centre after an interrogation in KGB as a witness in the criminal case on mass disorders. It became known that he was detained as a suspect in the mentioned case on January 28.
Kirkevich Ales – Hrodna activist of “Young Front, served a 10-day sentence for participation in the action of solidarity on December 24, detained as a suspect in the mass disorders criminal case on January 28.
