Belsat TV tries to get accreditation in Belarus again

"We have applied for accreditation not as a correspondent's office but as a group of separate journalists and cameramen. The documents were prepared well so there are no formal reasons to refuse us now,” Belsat quotes its spokesperson in Belarus Alyaksei Minchonak as saying.
The Belarus authorities have refused accreditation to the TV channel for four times. MFA explained that Belsat-associated reporters violated the Belarusian legislation by working for a foreign media outlet without accreditation.
The Poland-based TV channel has applied for registration at the moment when Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski is to pay an official visit to Belarus.
