Bell’s plan is lost in Minsk corridors of power

Lord Bell gave an interview to the European Radio for Belarus and informed that the plan of changing the outward image of Belarus was ready and had already been sent to Minsk.  However, it turned out that neither the President’s Administration, nor the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Belarus had seen the document. An English image-maker Timothy Bell who has elaborated a plan of improvement of the outward image of Belarus told ERB that the document was already on Lukashenka’s table.

Lord Bell: “Yes, I have prepared a plan but I have not received a reply from your President yet”.

However, it has not reached the table of the leader of the state yet.

Pavel Lyohkі, the President’s press secretary, told ERB that he had not seen any plans made by Lord Bell and advised that we should ask the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires about it:

Lyohki: “You know, I have not received any plans from Lord Bell. The thing is I am the head of the President’s press service so I am not the one who should be asked about it. He may have his own information channels. I think you should better turn to the Ministry of Foreign Affaires”.

Maria Vanshyna, the press secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires, informed ERB that the press service had no information about the documents sent by the English image-maker:

Vanshyna: “I cannot answer this question because I do not know whether it has been received or not”.

The secretary of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Syarhei Martynau informed that the diplomat had gone away on business for a long term and had not seen the plan of the English image-maker:

“The Minister does not know whether the plan has arrived or not because his is away on a business trip and will not be back anytime soon. Where should you ask about it?.. Maybe you should go to the chancellery, they register all incoming documents. Everything that is sent to us will be registered by them”.

The chancellery of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires was the next state agency ERB turned to. It turned out that even the organ receiving all diplomatic documents had not received any letter signed by Lord Bell:

“Oh… I do not think I will find such a document… No, nothing of the kind has arrived here”.

It turns out that nobody has seen Bell’s document in Belarus yet. And the elaborator of the plan is just waiting for the reply of the Belarusian authorities in England.
