Belarusian carrying drugs is detained at Ukraine-Russia border
A Belarusian citizen having drugs on him has been detained at Ukraine-Russia border. The drugs were hidden in the door of his car.
The website news.mediaport.info reports that the incident took place at the “Gaptovka” check-point. Customs officers and frontier guards knew that the Belarusian would try to transport marijuana – they had received “a signal”. The drugs – 13.35 grams – were found by a patrol dog.
The car has been handed over to the customs and the Belarusian will have to stand trial.
