Belarus ranks 37 on the list of most creative countries
In the annual ranking of Global Creativity Index 2015, our country is placed higher than all the CIS countries.
Global Creativity Index 2015 is a creativity ranking. A total of 139 countries took part in it. At the top of the ranking are Australia, USA and New Zealand. The top ten also included five European countries: Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Iceland and the Netherlands.
Belarus is at the 37th place, right after Costa Rica. Russia is one the step below. Less creative turned out to be Poland, Lithuania and even China.
In the study, experts estimated the country based on three things: talent, technology and tolerance. According to experts, Belarus takes a high position in the rankings thanks largely to its residents - in the category of Talent the country entered the top ten, finishing 8th next to Slovenia, Sweden and New Zealand.
In the technology sector of Belarus is among the top 50, ranking 41.
The weakest spot of Belarus, according to experts, is tolerance. Here experts who made up the rating, assessed the degree of openness of the state for innovation and new ideas. On tolerance Belarus is on the 97th position.
