Belarus customs officer in bribery case in Pinsk
KGB's Brest Rregion Department has opened a criminal case against a customs officer from Pinsk. KGB agents detained the officer a Belarus-Ukraine border crossing point when he was receiving a bribe of Br100,000 ($50) for allowing to smuggle a contraband from Ukraine into Belarus.
KGB suspects that the case is part of a wider bribery ring at the customs in Pinsk. Investigation is under way.
