"Young Front" activist hit by a car in Hrodna (video)
"Young Front" activist Artsyom Lastavetski and his girlfriend got into a road accident in Hrodna.
The accident happened two weeks ago but both the youngster and the girl are still in the ambulance hospital.
Artsyom Lastavetski and Alena Moyskaya were crossing the road on the pedestrian way, when they were unexpectedly knocked down by a taxi. Artsyom has spent the first four days in hospital unconscious. His both legs are broken, one of his lungs is injured but he is happy that he survived. The police gave him a video record of the accident.
A criminal case has been started against the taxi-driver.
Artsyom Lastavetski is a "Young Front" activist from Baranavichy, holder of Kastus Kalinouski educational program's scholarship. He was forced to continue his education in Poland after he had problems with studying in Belarus, informs the press-center of the "Young Front".
