Trial against Valyantsin Stefanovich to be resumed today
It will start at 14.15. Judge of the Partyzanski district court of Minsk Veranika Abramovich announced a break till December 16 during the first trial.
It took the court and the representatives of the tax authorities an hour to study the documents which had been attached to the materials of the case upon Valyantsin Stefanovich's appeal. The human rights defender presented the document issued by the "Amnesty International" and the "Danish Institute of Human Rights" which confirm that the money was transferred to the bank account opened in his name in the Lithuanian bank SEB for passing to the third persons. Also, he presented samples of the printed matter produced for this money, to the court, reports the web-site of the human rights center "Viasna".
Let us remind you, Stefanovich is accused of tax evasion and faces a big fine.
