Orthodox-Catholic conference takes place in Minsk
The Christian forum "Orthodox-Catholic dialogue: Christian ethic values as an input into Europe's social life" has started on November 13.
It is taking place in the International Educational Center and will last for three days. Representatives of the directive board of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church in Belarus are taking part in the conference. Representatives of the Baptist church, Judaic and Muslim communities have also been invited. Apart from that, secular experts and scientists in the field of philosophy, history, sociology and some other are present.
It is worth mentioning that such inter-confessional forums were held in Minsk before. There was a Christian-Islamic conference for years ago, and a Christian-Judaic forum two years ago, informs BelaPAN.
