Burnt prisoner transferred to Brest
Ivatsevichy doctors have not managed to help the patient.
The prisoner of Ivatsevichy colony #5 who attempted to commit an act of self-immolation on November 24 has been transferred to a Brest hospital. Uladzimir Abuhouski was taken to Ivatsevichy hospital at first.
District doctors revealed that 30% of the patient’s skin was burnt. According to them, he is conscious but he is unable to speak at the moment. Abuhouski’s condition is serious, informs Radio Liberty.
The prison administration refuses to comment on the reasons why the convict made a self-immolation attempt. A commission of the Penal Control Department arrived at the colony yesterday.
