Br2.5m fine for missing girl ad

The company that advertised its services using a missing girl ad has been fined.

The incident roused the indignation of ordinary citizens and the Ministry of Trade. Officials sued the company.

The company was accused of two things - a violation of the law on advertising and deception of consumers. The representative of the company pled guilty and the company was fined for 2.5 million roubles.
