Alpha Radio staff to meet with new director today
This is the former head of BT Yahor Rybakou. Let us remind you, he served 6 years of imprisonment for the especially large scale bribery.
The Belarusian media informed on Friday that he would become the director of "Alpha Radio", with a reference to the radio's editor-in-chief Andrei Khaladzinski.
In February 2005, the Supreme Court sentenced Rybakou to 11 years of imprisonment in a reinforced-security colony with property confiscation. He was accused of bribery and exceeding the official powers with an aim to legalize the money, obtained by illegal means.
In February 2010, the ex-head of the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company was released pre-term. Rybakou used to head a TV-studio in the colony.
