Poland does not reveal details about terrorist act prevention in Belarus
KGB chief Valery Vakulchuk claimed yesterday that a terrorist act had been prepared for the Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk.
The Belarusian special services managed to prevent it with the help of foreign colleagues. The man who threatened to conduct a terrorist act was detained within a day with the help of Polish special services, Valery Vakulchyk claimed. He is on the territory of the EU. The KGB chief reported no other details.
Euroradio requested information about it from the Polish Internal Security Agency. However, press secretary of the service, lieutenant colonel Matei Korczynski informed that he could not report any details ‘due to the safety and secrecy terms of the international cooperation between special services’.
