Nelson Mandela dead
The ex-President of the South African Republic was 95. He spent the last few months in a critical health condition.
Nelson Mandela was the first black President of the South African Republic. He ruled the state in 1994-1999. Mandela spent 27 years in prison for fighting the apartheid.
The ex-President was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 20 years ago.
