Belarusians have collected more than €100,000 to support political prisoners released on September 11 and deported by the Belarusian regime to Lithuania.

Immediately after the release of the group of political prisoners — made possible through agreements between U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration and Aliaksandr Lukashenka — the BySOL foundation launched a fundraising campaign to provide urgent assistance.

The prisoners were transported to Lithuania with virtually no personal belongings; many had even had their passports confiscated. As a result, immediate support was essential.

The initial target of €50,000 was reached in less than three hours. Within just two days, contributions surpassed €100,000.

More than 1,200 political prisoners remain behind bars in Belarus. U.S. President Donald Trump has urged the Belarusian regime to release them all.
