Vitsebsk is no longer Belarus’ cultural capital

Polatsk will be officially announced the cultural capital of Belarus on January 21. The Minister of Culture Pavel Latushka is expected to arrive in the city to give the honorary title to the country’s oldest city. The Ministry of Culture has decided that “The country’s cultural capital” will be chosen every year after a special action. The first owner of the title was Polatsk, reports a website “People’s news of Vitsebsk”.
