Chernobyl to get a new sarcophagus in six years
The construction of a new sarcophagus over the block No 4 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant will have finished by 2014. According to the Interfax news agency, it will be a steel construction filled with concrete. The life-span of the sarcophagus with reconstruction is 100 years.
