Blocking Internet and sites in Belarus

The Ministry said the letters about violations were not warnings - rather notifications about the inadmissibility of violations of the media law.

Access to the sites may be restricted.

But the sites are no longer available to some users.

A number of Belarusian Internet providers has closed access to these sites.

The sites with access restricted by Ministry of Information stopped loading.

Anonymizers and programmes like Thor may also be banned.

The popular e-commerce and news platform Onliner.by is back to Belarus' internet domain zone after rectifying trading violations.

The private news agency Belapan's websites Naviny.by and Belapan.com are not available, and any official explanations are yet to follow.

The popular website is closed down for violating trade ministry's regulations.
